33

Today we celebrated our 33 week appointment in labor & delivery at the University of Utah. After spending a couple of hours hooked up to monitors with minimal contractions we were free to go.
(I came away with a new water mug, so it wasn't completely bad)
When I was put on bedrest at 20 weeks, 24 weeks seemed manageable. 28 seemed achievable. and 32 felt REALLY FAR AWAY. and now at 33 weeks we are grateful for the anticlimactic and extremely boring pregnancy it has been. Prayer really works and we have seen that first hand over the last couple of weeks. Most of the anxiety has subsided and we are making final preparations and getting very excited to meet this little guy.
Today while I wracked up a nice fat hospital bill, Spencer suggested that we auction off the baby’s name. To the highest bidder goes the honor and privilege of naming our son.
Let the bidding start at $100 (plus a couple more zeros)

I am sooo happy that you are 33 weeks. I remember coming to your place when you were just put on bedrest and it all seemed so far away and you were hoping to make it to 28 weeks. That baby is cooking and he is going to be soooo perfect. I can't wait to see pictures of him, but I can wait another 7 weeks or so! K, i love you sar bear.

Sara I am stalking you... so don't judge me. I just love you. I am SO excited for you. Also, Jordan and I heard the BEST story from a girl who grew up with someone named La-a (pronounced La-dash-a). So I will pay you $1000 if you name your boy La-o (La-dash-o. It's more manly.)

Yay!! You are in my prayers, all of you. I can't wait for photos of this little one:))

How about the name, Cole or Drew or Wes? Some of my other favorites, Noah and Henry (Hank:)

Good Luck - names are hard, but whatever you name him, it will stick and seem perfect after a few days:)

love you!

What a relief!! What a great accomplishment. I am glad you are hanging in there and the baby is too!
If you have an auction in 30 years, we can participate....that's how long it'll take to pay off dental school loans...boo..

Yay for 33 weeks! That's me tomorrow, too!
As for names... here's a few we really liked but didn't go with. Sawyer, Hayden, Landon, Brendon, Andrew, Corey.
Hmmm... some more I've heard recently - Lincoln, Mason, Porter, Max, Brock(ston), Austin, Landon.
I'm sure you won't like any names anyone suggests and something will just magically come to you. Or maybe this will actually have helped! Good luck!
And on an angry note... You are way cuter than me! Cute little belly and skinny little sides! So jealous!

I love how many comments you get. It makes total sense that you have so many friends! :) That is so awesome that you have made it to 33 weeks, totally worth the boredom I bet! Anyway, we were in a married student ward with Burke and Chelsea right before we moved to Wymount. So funny. I miss you too! :)

My bid is 1001 dollars. If I win I will reveal the name at that time. (You didn't require that the bidders tell you in advance, right?)
