Sara's BDO

My Big Day Out happens every Wednesday
(which also is the day we celebrate another completed week)

 Some things I did:
-got dressed in more than a housecoat
   -did my hair/makeup
-walked the 15 feet to the car
(which oddly enough was sore on my constantly locking knees)
   - enjoyed the 80mile roundtrip drive to the U and the sunshine on my arms and face
   - felt awkward as Spence pushed me in a wheelchair to Labor and Delivery with not much of a pregnant pooch.
   - watched the little babe swim around as they measured his growth and reassured us that he is still a he.
   - heard good news (and more bedrest) from TBDITW
(The Best Doctor In The World)
   - got a really painful betamethasone steroid shot
             in the you know what
(and get the second half of the sequence (in the other cheek) today...)
   - stood up long enough to get a little picture
(and was told by my loving husband not to look at the camera because it accentuates my double chin)

Wow. That's all I can say. I can't imagine what your life is like right now. But you reassure me of the amazing love that women have for their children. You and Spencer are in mine and Sean's thoughts and prayers and we wish you the best.

I agree, you are amazing, and Spencer's suggestion about turning to the side must have worked, because I don't see a double chin at all, not even close. Your post reminded me of Baby's Day Out though. Have you seen that movie?

Hi- I came to your blog after fb suggested you as a friend. I am friends with a few of your abbylooper friends. Anyway, I clicked on your page and laughed bc I could have written the very same post. I am 31 weeks along, on bedrest, but have a transvaginal cerclage. I too look forward to Tuesdays (and sometimes Thurs, too) when I get to go for my weekly outing. I look forward to reading more of your story.
