On the drive up to the University Hospital I asked Spencer, "What do you think it is?"
Spencer: "I don't know..."
Me: "Oh, come on just humor me with any guess"
Spencer: "I think it's a baby." (He's so witty)
We sat in the ultrasound room with a huge TV on the wall. My bladder was nice and full and the pressure of the ultrasound wand wasn't helping my cause. The sonographer (sweet name for a profession) told us it was being stubborn. She asked me to go empty my bladder half way. HALFWAY? Is that possible? yes. yes it is. I did it. And I came out of the bathroom with a big grin from ear to ear. Who thought something so simple could make me so proud? I crawled back on the bed and there it was.
Me: "IT'S A BOY!!!!" I yelled.Spencer: "Yes it is."
Me: "I knew it, I knew it. I told you Spencer. I was right! It's my mother's tuition"
Spencer: "Intuition."
Me: "Whatever."
Needless to say, we are VERY, VERY excited.
The little bundle of BOY is due to arrive near the end of July.

HOW AWESOME I LOVED having a boy first, kinda sets the tone for other kiddies in the future!! and I love spencers response to "what do you think it is" question.. Quinn came up to me the other day and said she either thought it was a boy or a girl... like there was another choice out there.. Congrats you guys!
Hooray! My only experience is with a boy, and hasn't been very long at that, but from that experience I have come to the conclusion that boys are fabulous and so fun. We are so excited for you

We are so excited for you. A boy will keep you on your toes and very active. I had not problem losing the baby weight after having Halle because I have been chasing Parker around the house playing tag, football, basketball, bowling and tons more. Congratulations!

Wow. Boys. Don't know a thing about them, unless they are over the age of 29 :) I remember learning somewhere if you can stop your bladder from emptying before it's empty you have a sweet set of abs. Congrats (on the abs and the baby.)
Boys rule! welcome to the boy club that EVERYONE pregnant is in!
Ha ha. you're ridiculous. I read it to Bri and he was laughing. You guys are cool. And so is your baby.
