Mullet

Until we moved to New York, Drew has been bald most of his life. Must be something about that moist Finger Lake air that stimulated some growth. And once he had some hair, I found it hard to cut it- even if it was a curly little mullet at the back of his head.
When our friends started to mention things like "Well at least his hair will keep his neck warm during the winter..." which then turned to "Well you don't have to worry about his neck getting sunburned" when the weather turned warm- We decided we had to do something about the corn silk locks.
So we finished off spring break by giving Drew a nice little chop, and turned our little baby into a little boy.

I was just the same way with Tyler, his little curls were so cute!
Drew looks like such a big kid, and he is still so adorable!!
We had pneumonia in our house last week too! And Kristian (Kjarsta's husband had it too) Sorry I just think that is so weird.
Anyway I still stalk your blog, I don't always leave a comment because I have kids crawling on me. So keep it up! Love you! We have to cordinate our GA trips next time. Would love to see you guys again!

I can't believe the mullet is gone! Oh drew. If you ever want pictures of his new look call me! Not that I'm professional by any means but I love taking pics! :)

you can always save it in an envelope - Chris and I have been going thru boxes in the basement and I came across a bunch of envelopes with snippets of my hair in them from when I was six months old and up. One even stating it had to be cut because I got gum in my hair. Of Spencer can buy you a locket to keep it in:) It's always bittersweet when they go from baby to boy right before your eyes.

Nash and Drew have all the same shirts, great minds think alike! I love his new cut! Its soo hard to cut those blonde locks when they finally get hair.

oh it's so hard to cute their hair the first time! I always waited as LONG as I could! I had to finally cut Connor because he had white blonde curly hair and he got "cute girl" comments all the time even in blue shirts with truck overalls!
