Bald is Beautiful

A void of posting can mean a couple things...(boring life, no computer...etc.) but in our case it is due to a lack of time. I have courageously (and regrettably) taken on 18 credits this semester with a newborn in tow. I always said I wouldn't be one of those girls. you know the awkward ones pushing the stroller on campus... but I am. Spencer and I have worked our schedules out perfectly (or near perfect) and are counting down the weeks till graduation. "Back to School" doesn't have the same joys and hype associated with it when doing it with a baby, especially due to the lack of "Back to School clothes" I bought. As in none. Drew however, has enjoyed wearing his BYU booties and really feels like he fits in on campus.

Despite the mass amount of acne and lack of sleep... I am grateful that I will be able to graduate with my bachelors degree from BYU
"It is so important to get all of the education that you can. The Lord has said very plainly that His people are to gain knowledge of countries and kingdoms and of things of the world through the process of education, even by study and by faith." - President Gordon B. Hinckley
If we could just get Drew to sleep a little more than a 3 hour stretch at night than perhaps I wouldn't be so sleepy in my classes. Except for the 'Geography of Utah' class. Staying awake in there is difficult for anyone.

In other news, Drew has finally hit the double digits. He topped the scales at just over 10lbs for his 2 month checkup. He's finally outgrown most of his newborn clothes and is starting to smile a little. His very light blonde hair is starting to grow in on his eyebrows and head.
For Labor Day we visited Hill Airforce Base Museum and Utah's Kennecott Bingham Canyon Copper Mine- as part of an assignment for the aforementioned class. Did you know Kennecott is the world's largest man-made excavation? And also has the longest name ever for a mine? (I made that last fact up)
As you can see we are learning a lot this semester.

I can't imagine trying to study for college courses while dealing with a newborn and their lack of sleeping in great stretches.... kudos to you for jumping into it and getting it done!
He looks like he's grown since he was here-- getting a tummy on him! Isn't it amazing how much heavier that carseat feels now than when he came home?? When the twins came home (4.5lbs and 5lbs) you would have to double check that they were even in the seat
cause it felt "empty". However, when we put the monster 8lb 3oz Bella in it, we thought we needed the dolly to get her to the car : )

I don't know who Kay is....but I laughed out loud!! Someday we need to meet Kay! Sara...you need to walk by the office tomorrow. It's taco soup day. And there's a bowl for you! PLLEEEEZZZEEE (yes I know how to spell but when you're whining you aren't supposed to spell that word correctly!). See you Wednesday!!

Spencer better be careful with holding Drew up like that. I learned the hard way...barf, literally barf in my mouth, okay, on my mouth and face. And Aaron had to nerve to ask if he could take a picture.

You really do look great, and my goal is to someday have as many readers and comments on my blog as you do :D
