Swine Flu/Mother's Day
Neither Spencer or I actually have swine flu but I did find this cool mask to take a picture with. (Also to show the three inches of hair that was cut off). My very first (potential) Mother's day was spent throwing up for a few hours after eating some sort of poisonous food. Luckily it all ended minutes before we sat down for the wonderful Lobster dinner Spencer help prepare. It was great. And since the men figured out it wasn't too hard to make- hopefully we'll have it again soon. very soon. I can't believe no one snapped a picture of the little lobsters or the bacon wrapped fillet mingon. Spencer even got me a Mother's Day gift- Some sweet maternity pants from GAP. After church, and before the brief sickness, we took this picture of the slight baby bump that is beginning to form. We've been taking these kind of pictures from the beginning but it is just now finally looking like a little more. It'll be half way next week so perhaps soon I'll have something to show for it!

Moving Day
About two weeks ago our contract sold and we packed up all our belongings into a 10x10 storage unit and drove to Georgia for the summer. It was kind of sad to leave our first place together. However, I won't miss the tiny kitchen with playhouse size appliances. Spencer's family was such a huge help with our moving process. I mostly just cleaned and carried out light items... like pillows, while the rest of his family moved our couches, bed, table, dressers...etc. It was snowing when we moved into the place in January and it rained the day we moved out. I guess we just don't have any luck when it comes to weather. The drive wasn't that bad actually. We stopped in Albuquerque for a night (with Tara and Gary) and spent about two days seeing the sights and enjoying the BEST food ever. (Tara has most of those pictures on her camera so I'll have to get them from her sometime.) If you haven't made a trip to Albuquerque you need to go! And you need to have Tara and Gary as your guides and have them take you to the best restaurant there. El Pinto. It was absolutely divine. I could go for a sopapilla RIGHT NOW. Thank you Fears family for the best quick-trip EVER! After Albuquerque we spent a night in Amarillo, TX, and from there spent the next night in Memphis, TN. Atlanta is only 6 hours from Memphis so we leisurely took our time the last 6 hours and stopped in Birmingham, AL where we saw some Civil Rights tourist sites before driving the last 2 hours of our 30 hours roadtrip. It is fun to be in Atlanta. We're just working and enjoying the weather as we try to save money for a big expense coming up in October. I finally got a much need hair cut and color which is a little shorter than I anticipated but it is nice to have fresh cut ends. The neighborhood pool opens next week and we can't wait, but in the meantime we have been enjoying playing with the Wii Fit and visiting with family.
